The Partnering Group Adds Member, Elects Officers

Matt Coben of Thunderroad Brandworks, Inc. (UPIC: 3359956), a Charlotte, North Carolina-based distributor, has joined The Partnering Group, LLC. This Northbook, Illinios-based group of distributors partners with suppliers to form a cohesive organization and exchange ideas. The announcement was made at the group’s fall meeting and annual Sales Seminar in Washington, D.C.

While Coben is a relative newcomer to the promotional products industry, he has more than 20 years’ experience in corporate marketing. “I look forward to being a part of this talented and creative group,” Coben says. “Our corporate cultures are a match, and we will all have an opportunity through this association to grow our brands and our businesses.”

Additionally, the group elected the following officers to lead the group in 2008:

President: Laura Forbes, MAS, of Memphis, Tennessee-based distributor Zebra Marketing Corporation (UPIC: ZEBRAMC)

Vice President: Hank Frisch, CAS, of Beachwood, Ohio-based distributor Team Promotions (UPIC: TEAMP0007)

Treasurer: Beverly Watson-Brewer, CAS, of Birmingham, Alabama-based Watson Advertising, Inc. (UPIC: WATS0001)

Secretary: Chris Huebner, of Washington, DC-based distributor Mac Mannes, Inc. (UPIC: macmann)
They assume responsibilities in January.
